This is aimed to colorists. I'm trying to figure out the way of painting OVER an artist lines without making the original drawing disappear. I did this before but I'm not happy with the result because it looks sloppy:

I'm also unhappy with the time it takes. This is because I lack technical knowledge. I need to know HOW TO COLOR A PIECE SO IT LOOKS LIKE A PAINTING (that is, you don`t see the actual lines)
I'm NOT asking how to separate lineart from the white background. What I'm asking is: how do you paint/color a piece so the lineart disappears but you can still tlel who drew the piece, all right? ^_^ Here I have some good examples:
